If I recall correctly, DarthAnt66 has said that KOTOR Revan is only slightly above SF Malak, and KOTOR Revan should be on par with Revan Reborn, but that's just what I remember. Feel free to correct me if I got that wrong Ant.

That was true until BioWare's 3.0 expansion. I plan to make a run-down on the different levels of Malak/Revan soon (tomorrow or Saturday).

I think Shan can beat Malak. She's able to hold her own against Malgus, someone who i consider superior to Malak.
