I would think the one that gets into gunfights constantly, fights monsters, animals, armed criminals including trained mercenaries, etc., and usually carries a pair of pistols and is really good with them. Plus does frankly superhuman physical stunts. Johns may have fought a lot of Nazis, but mostly just fist fights.

Indiana may have come first, but let's be serious- this is an action video game protagonist. The carnage she's inflicted is massive.

Depends on the conditions. Lara wins a gunfight, Indy wins a fist/melee fight.

Nah, Lara still wins in fist/melee. Indiana is your regular tough guy but he's not shown as this super skilled h2h fighter. Lara has been portrayed as a pretty great h2h fighter.

If theres guns, Lara wins. Otherwise, Indy wins

In a gun fight Lara wins. But Indy has stupid levels of damage soak. In Temple of Doom he takes a beating while getting Voodoo Doll'd, so it'd be hard for Lara to put him down in a h2h fight.

Indiana sexes up Lara ftw.

Indy and easily (mostly because men are simply better than woman)

Trained Mercs you say. Indy goes head to head with the SS and Spetsnaz. He's also faced a few animals.

No he hasn't faced monsters, but he has faced magic users. You know like guys who can reach into his chest and pulled out his still beating heart with out breaking the skin.

Actually Indy has been known to carry to pistols as well and is rather adept with them.

Not only does he rather routinely engage in gun battles, but often those Nazi's he faces are SS teams as in military special forces.
