There is one one possible explanation to his absence.

He wanted to kill the forum but didn't have the heart to ban everyone by closing it down. So he figured fck all, collect the checks and watch it die.

Steam is like a huge a application that you can play games on. Set up groups like we see here. Really good thing.

A group would just be something or a place everyone's from. For example a Russian Left 4 Dead group so Russians can discuss things about the game without having people of other languages talking in because they wouldn't understand etc.

Or just a group like what I have made.

Also if anyone does end up looking at it I am not sure if you need an invite or anything so you'll just have to see if you can just join without one.
