The Maze Runner (2014)

(Searched and searched and didn't see an existing thread for this, so my apologies if I missed it)

Caught a cheap showing. Surprisingly well done and entertaining. Even the shaky cam didn't hurt it much. Very engaging, highly recommended. Only had a $34 million budget, but it looked much better than that for the most part. Impressive production. Only gripe was shaky cam that made some dark action scenes very disorienting, but the story, acting, and direction were pretty spot on. There were a couple corny cliches, but I think the movie required them. There will obviously be sequels, because the end clearly stated it, and it was cheap to make and highly profitable...

Here's the trailer, but I actually recommend skipping it and just watching the movie. I was glad I didn't see a trailer beforehand.

I liked how there was literally no romance going on between the protag and the girl.

Yeah, good point. But I'll be surprised if there won't be some in the next film(s).

Worst movie ever... only line which I liked was when one of the kids said you know somethings got you and the other kids says no shitt.

I hope this film dies and every one forgets about it and it gets lost with the rest of the shitt films
