Yeah, agreed this makes sense.
As for RotJ / RotS Comparisons I always thought that Sidious become physically weaker in RotJ somehow, since because you know he started to use walking stick and failed to break Vader's one hand hold.
And also stop to use a light saber....
But Yoda did too, and thank to force pgysical augmentention he could perharps be really agile fast precise and deadly, but it will cost him more in term of force sourcing and he don't use this so can't be confirm anyway...
Pehaps that also because like yoda he can't keep this state for a long time....
