Difference is, I see no reason to differentiate Meetra's recent appearances and her old ones other than KOTOR II's outdated mechanics. I myself thought the game made it clear that Traya was far more powerful than the Exile.
Of course you wouldn't see the difference, you don't look hard enough 😛 On a serious note Selenial and I should probably make a thread about this
To be fair, SWTOR seems to imply her to be greater than she seemed to be in the Revan novel, but it's made undeniably clear in both sources that she was no Revan. All things considered, I do think Meetra was a council level warrior--She defeated Atris and went a few rounds with Sion, after all--But she's no match for a Mace Windu.
Except that she can pick up a lightsaber form by simply observing her opponent and "master" it. This has been shown in KoTOR 2 time and time again. Even if we switch the scenario and make it, Meetra Vs Mace, she'd no doubt hold her own long enough for Revan to defeat Nomi, afterwards Revan would assist Meetra in beating Mace.

Master? Vrook called her technique sloppy. 😬
Yet the Jedi master, Kavar -a Weapons-Master and a Jedi Guardian focused solely on combat. Stated that she mastered her form, While Zez-Kail El praises the speed in which she learns things. Vrook is a bit of biased guy when it comes to praise. He outright states his dislike for the Exile in the recording you find on Dantooine. 😬

Why are people assuming Nomi vs Revan, Exile vs Windu? It should be the other way around, most likely. And yeah, Traya was more powerful than Meetra, but imo she was hampered by only having one hand and the Exile was able to duck, dodge or tank her way through Traya's force attacks and beat her in melee. We know that's how she beats Traya the first time since the fight halts with her second hand getting cut off. And the second time was likely more of the same, Meetra destroys the levitating lightsabers and cuts Traya down.
It depend on Revan strategy and premonition....
