Suicide Squad comes out a year before Wonder Woman. If it failed, it would look bad but WW would still be going forward. If WW failed, though, that would make me worry for the fate of Shazam.

Oh, okay, true @ their release times.

I still don't think it would make a difference though. If they quit after committing themselves to a shared universe, it might take quite a while to recover.

I consider SS a batman movie, I'll make a bet with anyone the movie takes place in Gotham.

Batman is rumored to be in the movie, but so is Lex Luthor. Doesn't mean it's a Batman movie.

I honestly can't argue with that. It definitely falls within the "bat family" range, at least tangentially.

Personally, it'd call it a crossover of sorts. Or a team up.

If I were to put money on it, I'd say Batman himself will have a scene or 2 in SS.

But yeah at this point I'd say DC's slate upto and including Justice League is happening no matter what happens at the box office.

Can't wait. When he says, "at least", I'm betting on direct sequel to Man of Steel and the standalone Batman movies. Can't wait to hear who is directing the next Batman trilogy.

That's good news. Hopefully, WB lets Johns and Jenkins bring an accurate Wonder Woman to the screen (as they said they would with the director driven approach) instead of the interference/rewritten script fiasco they pulled with Green Lantern.
