Time sucks!
Illusion or not it still FEELS real (got that whole Matrix vibe to it)!!! Plus it teams up with math, which makes it even MORE sucky! 😂
does time go faster as we get older? This is an illusion, but it has its roots in a real phenomenon. When we are young, a year represents a huge amount of our total life experience. When we're nine and can't wait to be ten, a year is 1/9th of our total existence so each year seems long to us. When we get older, each year becomes less and less of our total life experience, and this makes time appear to fly for us. When we're 50, for example, a year is only 1/50th of our total life experience.
Time moves constantly at the same rate for everyone, but this illusion of time moving faster as we age is a very real phenomenon that just about everyone feels. However, it is not an actual constriction of time; it just FEELS that way!
