Another Dark Knight Returns sequel?

According to a report from Bleeding Cool (and corroborated by CBR), Miller is in talks to collaborate with current Batman writer Scott Snyder for a third Dark Knight mini-series.

the mini-series would jump farther into the future and mirror the original comic. The focus would now be on Batman's former sidekick Carrie Kelly as she too battles old age and the need to find a replacement. Apparently the plan is for Miller and Snyder to co-write the series together and for a rotating team of artists to illustrate it. Among the potential candidates named are Greg Capullo, Jim Lee, Marc Silvestri, Andy Kubert, and Sean Murphy.

Not very excited by this.
The DKR sequel didnt do much for me, except for a few of the side characters (Atom, Plas, The Question especially). I wish the project well, though.

It wasn't terrible...but it was definitely way more thin and hollow than the previous. DKR is a hard act to follow though. But he's right, The Atom was dope, and The Flash and Green Lantern make an appearance. Also Shazam...

Just MO of course. I know a lot of people liked it fine.

Seems like Miller's not too involved in the process.
Is that a good or bad thing, though?

He might actually need the help from Brian Azzarello the way he's been with his writing these days.

Thats what i've heard regarding this project. That and his art going downhill.

Art is definitely worse. But you might be able to endure it, if you like seeing Superman's dumb ass kicked. I know I do.

I haven't been enjoying Scott Snyders writing on Batman

i know other's have been enjoying it alot, From the very little i've read it was good.

Y'know the writing isn't bad, for some reason it just doesn't feel like Batman to me.

That's the thing everyone has their own view what makes Batman..."Batman"

Does this new DK involve Batman prepping and beating Skyfathers and Trans level being? While being fill with Government agendas?
