By Jedi standards Anakin in RotS is as prime as it gets. He doesn't use Force offensively during combat but the same is the case for all other Jedi. Windu never did a single Force attack despite facing Talzin, Maul and Sidious. Yoda is barely an exception because of a single Force push and a platform throw.

Windu did actually, more than once. That is why Anakin in RotS was par with RotS Obi-Wan in terms of force attacks and defense, he was not even at the same level with Windu, Dooku, TCW Maul etc. There are many examples to prove that. Anakin proceeds to go nutso on Satele, beating on her Ataru with Djem So, probably slicing her saberstaff in half...
