That would be only your opinion though. It is not known how strong his lightning is as during his Jacen time he deliberately used electric judgement to avoid killing Vong with the Force.

His lightning is strong enough to take Jaina down with a single burst. In Apocalypse Jaina had prolong exposure to a random Sith lightning and it didn't do any serious harm to her unlike Jacen's single burst.

If its not known how strong his lightning is then saying he can beat Maul with it is dumb. That he lacks impressive feats with it indicates mediocrity.
