My gut says AM.

Subby beat up Ares, so I guess current Aquaman could. For a God of War Ares wasn't all that great in Marvel, although he had a couple of good showings.

He had tons of potential, especially when he joined new avengers and was described as a Thor/Wolverine combo. And how he was dealing with xman. I wish he'd come back and get an upgrade
