In the timeline where he fights Marr and Shan, they destroy his doomsday machine by bombarding all the temples, forcing him to retreat to the terrace.
Do they specifically say bombarding or did it say destroyed, with a cutscene of bombing runs?
Because that temple is huge, and the sacrifice machine is in it's heart. I don't see that happening tbh, unless it's an Isotope 5 bombing run.
The description of the operation is described as "a joint military attack on the temple."

The temple and the surrounding area is depicted as being heavily bombarded by all accounts.

Except that's Scourge's opinion, in the same page Revan says they're stronger than him but I'm not using that as an argument.Hell why are we even debating this if there's a quote in the novel saying in some he was struck down?
As for them not killing him, they were Jedi. The novel says that Meetra placed more value on their lives than his death, and Revan wanted back to his son. If they could use the emperor as a hostage to escape the capital they would, and the empire would still fall apart to infighting and lack of any leader due to the council being killed.
NB: He didn't have his lightsaber when they all confronted him, Meetra's knocked it out of his hand.
Revan's just posturing, but Scourge seems pretty sure they couldn't get through in time to help. I don't know why his assessment would be that faulty. Considering Vitiate's fight with Revan had already only lasted a few seconds, I think it's very accurate for him to assume the fight would be over before they broke through.
We're debating this because you said they'd stomp him, which I found stupid and worthy of rebuttal.
Yeah, like Revan spared Malak and Nyriss or Meetra spared the Triumvirate. 🙄 Vitiate was a threat to all life in the galaxy and faaaaaar too much of a threat for 3 people to hold hostage in the middle of enemy territory. Revan even says “I want to live. Even more, I want to purge the galaxy of his evil once and for all."
Vitiate doesn't need a lightsaber. And that was Revan's saber anyway.
The operation is a different timeline though, which is the entire point:

Theron directly says that too a protag that would otherwise have joined in the operation.

And yeh I'll get that picture before my raid. Were doing Temple of Sacrifice tonight, which I think is Revan in his temple. From what I understand you face him there before he escapes to the place where Satele and Marr face him, I might be able to get two seperate pictures of him using Jar'kai.
I don't think that would happen. Story-wise (from what I've played) you either fight him with the coalition or with a 'hand-picked team', which I assume is the OPS group.
But I guess you'll find out when you play.
And when are you going to guild me? Is there some process I have to go through? Like a hazing or something? 😛

Yes I know, I'm not saying the Protags stormed the temple, just a powerful team did. Someone had to.
