Simon Pegg will co-write the 3rd movie now.

With much respect to Pegg...taking on the mantle that JJ revamped will be a hard act to follow.
He'll be crucified by Trekkies worldwide.

They probably want him to add more comedy to fit their goal of making this like Guardians of the Galaxy Lol
