Was Ossus a light or dark nexus?

Was listening to the Dark Empire audiobook, and Luke and Kam remark that the planet is concentrated in the force due to the presence of Jedi. But in the battle between Ood Bnar and Sedriss QL, both fighters draw on different sides of the force to destroy each other? Is Ossus a similar nexus to Ambria or early Felucia, especially given its history as a Jedi world?

I believe that while the Jedi descendants on Ossus had a major influence with the Light, eventually they dabbled into the Dark-side, not knowing what it truly is.
