Look at the treatment Hyperion is getting (and he's a Johnny-come-lately). Look at the treatment Sun God got (he owned Hulk). Why do these Superman pastiche get some love, while Gladiator gets crapped on?

Shows how big of idiots Marvel is. They could do great things with him but they rather make fantastic four comics.

Or Hulk is that powerful. Super Bricks damage soak and strength (along with speed) keeps them in the game and gives them advantages over people with better versatility. It's not always about that.

Gladiator,

hulk for a majority. i put glads in the same tier as captain marvel/black adam (prenu), but without the magic lightning. glads is one character who could really benefit from his own book. or maybe the avengers could create yet ANOTHER team, a galactic version or something and get him some real panel time. or have the avengers already done a galactic team....who can keep track anymore....

This is a forum fight, not a single comic fight. Characters fight to the best of their abilities as shown before. Gladiator didn't fight to the best of his abilities. His strength dictates that at full confidence he could uppercut Hulk into space. His speed dictates that he could carry Hulk to space in a few nanoseconds, see Hulk as a frozen statue. His energy projection dictates that he can beat Hulk from a distance without ever getting close.
