No, but when the exact same critics bitched about not enough monster fights. And now to many monster fights yeah, its deserved.
There is a middle ground you know.
I bitched about Superman Returns having no action, then MOS was destruction overload. Both are fair criticisms.
That said ive heard Godzilla doesnt get more than 20mins of screen time in this.

If you had a choice though would you prefer a movie with too much action or too little?

Spoiler:
He is killed in a fight with Gidorah when the humans launch an "oxygen destroying weapon" at them. Gidorah isn't. He then vanishes for half the movie to what I presume is supposed to be Atlantis but nobody ever calls it that. It's just an ancient giant city lost under the sea/in the hollow earth. This leaves Gidorah to use his alpha status to take over all the other monsters except Mothra and presumably Kong who we don't see even though Skull Island is mentioned numerous times simply to make sure the audience knows the films are connected. It's actually retarded because they know by this point that Gidorah isn't part of the natural order and is from space so doesn't need oxygen and they know Godzilla swims under the ocean for hugely extended periods so also does need oxygen so why a giant oxygen destroying bomb should kill either of them is a mystery.
Because of rotten tomatoes? Who gives a ****? This is a movie for fans of the genre and I am more hyped the more I hear people ***** about the humans.the action and monsters aee all getting great praise which is all I care about.
The only person in trouble is Base Thanos when both Godzilla and Ghidorah take turns whoopin his ass

Thanos is on a whole other level. MCU is the big time, kiddo.
When I see how weak he is? Have you seen it? I doubt it. Sorry, but the scale is just to much here. Throat punching Hulk aint gonna do squat to Godzilla and if those little lightning bolts of Caps put Thanos down, Ghidorah will straight up kill him.
Sorry. Endgame nerfed the shit outta every male in the MCU.
