The vast majority of the Bride's opponents had nothing more than reputation going for them, and no real notable onscreen feats. Reputation goes both ways dude. If you are going to use the rep of the Bride's opponents in your argument, you have to also acknowledge that 2 people Achilles beat with relative ease were considered by reputation to be the best warriors in their respective armies. Claiming Achilles never fought anyone of skill is just flat out wrong.
Also, without PIS, the Crazy 88s would have overwhelmed Beatrix and killed her, but instead they fought in typical movie villain extra style and got killed like chumps. There are numerous moments during that fight where she should have been skewered from behind or turned into a pincushion, but it never happened because the 88s fought like idiots.
That being said, the Bride does have moments where she displays unnatural levels of strength and agility, so this match is closer than I initially thought. So I change my vote to the Bride and Achilles duel for a while, realise how badass the other is, end up having sexy times and produce the most epic swordsman offspring the world has ever seen. 😎
