So the question is whether or not Malak could hold out against Vader long enough for Sidious to dispatch Exar? Interesting thread idea, OP, but T1 wins.

Vader could face Sidious while Kun faces Malak though that one wouldn't end well for team 2.

So you think TPM Sidious can kill Kun faster than Vader kills unamped Malak?

TPM Sidious was fast enough to be described as a phantom, dodged and deflected blaster bolts from an army of droids, was fast enough to fade from Maul's senses, and was fast enough to not get hit by hundreds of Kursid warriors. Kun is many speed tiers beneath him as is Vader.

Well, really it depends on what the difference is between TPM and RotS Sidious; other than the fact that he gained a power boost after killing Plagueis, there isn't much to say that he was significantly weaker than in RotS other than a vague rumor that Luceno said Plagueis would have defeated Palpatine had he formally challenged him. The validity of this has yet to be proven, though.

Sidious must have become stronger naturally; to what extend though its impossible to tell. Like you said, it doesn't make sense to assume there is a massive amount of difference. Kun might gain himself enough time to hold his ground with his blasts and unique application of the force. It depends on how good Vader would do against someone like Malak I guess.

Vader is magnitudes superior to Malak in all regards beyond Force Lightning. Vader stomps un-amped Malak 10/10, infact I can't find any reason to suggest that Vader can't just Force stomp him to death.

Kun can certainly hold TPM Sidious, soon as Malak dies then Sidious gets double-teamed.
