It's funny because if he had participated in the march, those same critics would be lambasting him for wasting time, focusing on the affairs of other countries when 'murica has its own problems, etc. I can see the whiny ***** Fox news rant now.

"I just want to know why the President of the United States is off marching and catching beads in France while important issues at home need addressing!"

Why does Obama need to be in that march, or anybody else for that matter?

Just to show support I guess. But again, nobody asked him to come either so whatever.

So, if I chose to not join that march, I'm anti-freedom? It doesn't make sense at all.

I think that not publishing the uncensored cartoons in some international media was more of an admitted "anti-freedom" move.

The New York Times editor should apologize 👆

True. However that is why you have a Vice President..

He was busy with the San Antonio Spurs visit.

What people don't realize is that Fox news is Not a station for conservative views; it is an awesomely clever spoof of a station for conservative views. Sure had me fooled.

Terrorist rampage continues in Nigera. They wiped a whole village off the map.

2 terror suspects dead in a Belgium Raid.

The guy not only saved several people's lives but also managed to alert the police...after the police mistook him for an attacker and cuffed him.

I'd say giving him fasttrack citizenship is an appropriate reward/apology. He may also get the Legion of Honor.

Those guys from Boko Haram are truly despicable.

I've seen them open fire on a shelter home in a video, killing innocent women and children as well.

I was thinking today about how the Puritans under Oliver Cromwell were basically the Boko Haram/ISIS of their day. Funny how some people in England still venerate Cromwell as some kind of hero.

I thought giving him a citizenship seemed a bit random, then I remembered how fast Carla Bruni became french after marrying the president awesr

IDK if that should be included in this thread since it was unrelated to the Paris attack, unless this is the official Terrorism thread (which I guess we do need)

But yeah, the massacre of Baga is horrifying.

Um, I don't watch tv or listen to the radio and skip the newspapers and I have not a clue as to the situation. Sounds like some thin-skinned fanatics can not take some criticism though. Lighten up Muslims extremists, SOME of those people seem like right wing GOP members and other than the GOP don't go on rampages like this, I see not discernible difference.
