Khan designed war-class starship, and while the majority of the technology was already there, he seemingly improved upon it, eg firing weapons while at warp

The Vengeance, obviously. But Khan didn't really invent anything new, he took existing technology and improved on it. Similar in how Tony took existing technology (ie the arc reactor) and improved on it.

But I would argue that improving on things like FTL and (possibly) transporter technology are greater than what Tony has accomplished with the IM suit.

Khan could win this IMO
