That is her powers, to control weather. That's it.

Well, I have my relevant scans ready for the BZ.

My opening post will be the same as the one I've already posted, as it would be grossly unfair to change it based on prior knowledge.

I'm working off the assumption we start in our respective locations, I have no idea who else was chosen, nor what powers they have (until I get into a 50 mile radius of them). A speedster could be coming for me, a telepath, a weather b!tch...the possibilities are endless. It could be my good friend carver, or my worst enemy krisblaze (how I hate him). All I know is that I now have powers, and I need to get to safety. Easy enough for me. The rest of you can figure out what to do.

Free run to safety for meh

I don't know what Reflasssh's powers are, or that we are allied, or anything like that, yet.

All I know is that I now have powers, and I need to get to safety. Easy enough for me. The rest of you can figure out what to do. But I'm assuming we all have these same stips.

Wouldn't you opening portals from the sun to earth blow the Earth up?

Not yet. That was never my opening post.

I always gave myself time to learn my powers. Page 11.

Besides, I've already shown - in his FIRST appearance, within minutes of getting his powers, the Spot could already do things 'over ANY distance, no matter how far away'.

I was only being fair, and not cheap 👆

So you will be training on how to use your powers? Good. That gives me time then. Plus, you would have to learn the distance on where to open your portal because too much heat would destroy everything.

Like I said - I need mere minutes, and all the later feats would be even more applicable, considering how much of an idiot the Spot was later written as. After a few minutes, I'd already have all the proficiency I need.

I'm just opening holes, and shoving things through them, hardly a complex weather system that even today, our most powerful super computers struggle to predict.

God dang it I'm gonna have to run and hide cause it's gonna at least take an hour to master everything

Everyone else is learning as well.

That's the beauty of Reflassh's luck.

What were the odds that the one other guy on here who knows about his synchronicity just so happened to be in his town on a conference? And what are the odds we happened to frequent the same cafe, where he sees me stealing a skinny latte frappucino with my powers?

That's irrelevant to this scenario since OP says we start where we live. Unless the two of you actually live in the exact same place you're going to have to figure out how to communicate with eachother in this scenario because his powers aren't on until he enters the scenario, and thanks to B-Dub he has to actually figure out how to use the power.

We don't get anything, and we are dropped in a version of our world.

Delph won't have access to arc reactor tech, nor Shi-Ar tech, or weird exotic materials. Just what he can get his hands on.

Abhi doesn't get a speedforce suit - they don't exist in our world.

Time doesn't get Magneto's funky helmet, etc etc. It is you, as you are now, with Cole's powers, without Cole's experiences and skills, and a location device.

I'm still ahead of the curve. As a now general low herald technopath not limited to only Madison Jeffries I can download and retain all the engineering knowledge of the planet pretty much instantly since I can communicate with machines and have passive computer like thinking (Jeffries, Sage, Black Box, Warlock, etc). All I have to do is place my hand on my computer and mentally link with the net and absorb all the knowledge a la Neo with martial arts in the Matrix. I can also look up and absorb all the knowledge and applications of my powers from the web. On top of that I can physically merge with machinery and metal and control them from within.

What I meant to say was, you have real world materials etc.

So for example, no adamantium Sentinels (was a reply to Spawning about reactor orbs or something, which do not exist in the real world).

My subsequent post makes clear that I do not automatically think of Reflassh and his powers etc. That will be an issue for later. For now, I am holing up in my world - though it will be difficult to not do more, knowing what I do about you from this thread. But that is prior knowledge.

wait so we are in our own world training?

Yes. We are in a replica of the real world with our powers.

Apparently I'm now going Skynet on you all. Instead of Sentinels it'll be drones and unmanned tanks and Apache Helicopters.

*edit

For starters.

Taking those out are my specialty...

Once you learn how to do it, sure.

I'll cook up something to drain your powers once we encounter.

If I were you I'd stay away from major cities, and the West Coast in particular.

Delph now has nukes. We should formulate a plan to take him out accordingly.

Max and I would be pretty much neighbours; so it depends on him if he wants to throw down. I can locate him (and anyone else) quite easily. But he's in the UK, so the device should be beeping.

I know a little boxing, wrestling, and am level 3 certified in combatives (Army MMA crap). Also really good at just throwing haymakers.
