Well, there's two ways I might answer this. I'm not sure which is best.
The first is that the world keeps changing, so the infinite permutations of existence would prevent boredom. I'm quite certain I wouldn't mind being around 30 years old for the next 100 years, so why not 2,000 as well?
The second is that you may be right, but we probably don't have the perspective to say what would actually happen to our minds if we were to live that long. It's simply not within our experience to say with any certainty.
I remain convinced that existence is preferable to oblivion, though, so I'd take my chances.
