Star Wars: Darth Vader

Vader said there was a thousand Rebels. I trust Vader more than 10/10IGN.

Hopefully, we get a duel between Vader vs. Aiolin/Morit at the end of this arc.

Meh issue, though the submarine was rather interesting.

Also I spotted a Storm Commando on the cover! Maybe?

One thing I seem to consistently like is Dr. Cylo, specifically his appearance, that Rodian eye is just...a wonderful addition to his character. I hope we see more of him and his inventions beyond the cyborgs, it looked like he was working on something so hopefully we'll see what that is.

I just want more of his character, he could shape into a really great one with his technology and genius level intellect.

Pretty mediocre issue aside from now Aiolin and Morit are going to showdown with Vader next issue. I wonder if they'll do better than Karbin did in Vader Down

Woohoo, thank god the Imperial Army Driver is back in the canon! I was worried, they were gonna have Stormtroopers run everything....but I saw that Imperial Army Trooper/Driver in the comic!

Granted, they are also in ROTJ(and Rebels too I guess, but the Stormtrooper like helmets kinda throw me off)....but at least they are keeping consistency here. Good.

All in all, was an eh issue. I'm kinda wondering what Cylo is gonna be doing at the siege since Vader is gonna be fighting the twins, curious to see if he brings forth technology to the battle. Also of course curious to see how the twins fair against Vader and if they have any quirks to them.

Aiolin and Morit vs. Darth Vader

Duel didn't last very long. Vader easily deflected their attacks way, and Aiolin admitted they couldn't beat him even 2 v. 1. She launched a missile at him and he deflected it with one palm.

Boring issue though

I haven't read the comics so I can't judge, but I smell the stench of much wanking.

I want Vader to encounter one of Yoda's illusions/projections, and then get destroyed by him with a flick of the wrist.

True Canon Vader does lack Bane's willpower 😛

Curious to see what Morit and Cylo are gonna do. Kinda disappointed that Cylo turns traitor to the Empire, because I would have liked to seen a tech based Imperial main player in the faction, but even so I'm sure he'll have a few tricks to go on.

The series is ending in 5 issues

The last issue will be between 40-56 pages

Let's hope the series goes out with a ****ing bang

Vader in the last issues was shut down by Cyclo with a switch he had against Vader's cybernetics, and Vader has this inner vision where he briefly fights Mustafar Anakin and TKs him into the lava as well as kills Obi Wan. Through sheer force of will in spite of having his life systems fail he was able to restart his cybernetics and kill Cyclo. The vision was a very cool scene

So is this getting cancelled cancelled due to low sales or cause REASONS!?

No it's just ending.

Pretty good issue. I loved seeing Vader rise out of the lava like that. The ending was cringe worthy though. Hopefully, Palpatine kills Aphra but I doubt they'll do that. She'll probably live as she is the one to tell Sheev about Luke.

Edit: Just read the next issue won't be out until Oct 5th... 🙁
