Apparently not. Looks like the US is under-represented in the "list of worst road accidents" if you consider the kilometers traveled per person and the number of vehicles per capita (meaning Americans drive quite a bit n'stuff but we don't get into as many wrecks as other nations):

I'd imagine India or some South American country would be the most dangerous place to drive by accidents per capita.

I'm all about criticizing the US for their stupid policies and beliefs (and normative behaviors)...but I'll also point out when a criticism of the US is misplaced. Looking at the list, of the Western Countries, the UK and Germany look like shit places to drive.
