Well to be fair..., finding consistently successful snl careers are few and far between. However my point is that the actresses in the new movie look like their personalities and acting performances are too similar. The original movies worked so well not because the mixture of humor and drama was perfectly blended but also because the actors personalities and acting styles were so dofferent. Aside from the black chick I'm familiar with the other actresses and I think they're all funny and talented but the only that looks like she belongs here is the blonde haired one.

I'm sure Anita Sarkeesian will do a video about how the patriarchy held back this movie from truly shining. God that chick is toxic.
The funny thing is that all the white women play characters that are like..scientists and shit. Whereas the black woman's skill is essentially "street smarts". Now you might be saying to yourself "But Surtur that is how it was in the original" but if they are changing the genders of the characters in an effort to be diverse and shake things up then you'd think maybe they would do away with that. Why can't one of the white women be the street smart one and the black woman be a scientist? Also why does she have to be sassy?

Also why do 2/4 of the women have to be straight up monsters. You dont have to get super models but at least females that look human would be nice 😬
