I enjoyed Kong. 👆

A unique great King Kong movie and a terrific monster animals movie.

Most others were trying to be what the brilliant black and white King Kong movie was.

I still say the '76 King Kong movie with Jeff Bridges and Jessica Lange was the best one.

Blasphemy!

Kong climbs up tall buildings... Godzilla brushes past those buildings and casually wrecks whole city blocks. Pwned!

Thats why i've never liked the idea of them crossing over. They operate on two different scales.

Kind of like the Mummy and Dracula, unless the Count goes on vacation to see the Pyramids I doubt there would ever be a reason he'd go to where the sun is the strongest.

I heard King Kong defeated him by drowning him.
If he can breathe underwater then isn't that utterly illogical?

I reall don't understand why a person believes anything a person says is constructive for accomplishing a goal.
There are things that are said which are destructive with nothing constructive at all.

"You are a awful drawer , a hopeless failure that won't improve so stop wasting your time and quit."
This is irrefutable nothing constructive it's pure destructive and discouragement. A person can be positive and optimistic but still be logical by recognizing or accepting that some dark clouds have no silver lining.
Otherwise it's being delusional believing anything has something constructive even when it's utterly obvious it's destructive criticism or discouragement with 0 things constructive.

Just found out another high school pal passed away, that's 9 since we graduated, at this rate there won't be any left at the 30th reunion.

That seems like a lot, man. Sorry to hear.

Quite a few went into the military right after graduation, not the best idea. We were all hyped up on Top Gun and Red Dawn, I wouldn't be surprised if the military used that sh-t to recruit dumb kids.

The beach volleyball scene in Top Gun made me want to join the navy!
...
and date Iceman. 😮

80's Val Kilmer was a hottie #nohomo

Oh GOD yes.

Unlike Tom though, he didnt manage to dtay in shape. 🙁

O RLY?

edit. read that wrong, you're right. doh

^^^for going on 55 (on our shared b-day), he's in great shape.
Thats why i like his casting in Jack Reacher. Tom's half his size, but the exact right age!

I haven't read the books, so the casting choice never really bothered me.

Other than; "Ugh, Tom Cruise is in everything."
