Moving during high school while I had severe social anxiety is why I dropped out. I've regretted it ever since.

Yea, I hear ya.

Rachel has had a hard time living here and just became excited about it.. it'd be really hard on her to have to move before she graduates.

i have some experience with depression/ anxiety... its a B*tch

I've been a victim of bullying from grade school to college.

It has affected my mentality permanently.

To this day, I suffer from bouts of severe emotional distress. I lack self-confidence.
Even though I know these problems, I can't seem to overcome them.

i learnt to defend myself and give a beating to bullies (martial arts) and i found the level of control and the situations i could handle really helped me control my anxiety and fear of others

but the element that got me through all the shit i took was my mental ability and capacity to learn. then i worked on my body

I'm getting a few grays in my beard.

i have to sleep with my tv. i can't seem to sleep in complete silence!

I'm DEATHLY afraid of the dark, I'd rather be shot then be in a dark room.

Same, I sleep with my fan on for the same reason.

I'd rather have the silence.
My PTSD makes noises, especially repetitive ones, painful.

I sleep with the air-conditioner on, so it sorta blocks off the other noises.
The buzzing noise it makes is sorta like a white noise.
That sound and the temperature helps me sleep. I can't sleep with the damp, humid climate here.

I used to need a TV when I slept, but nowadays just a small floor fan will do.
