I have re-adopted what I call Selective Simple Living.

Just moved in to a small prefab house yesterday. Locked all my jewelry and watches in a bank vault. I'm down to only 1 car, a folding bike, and a hoverboard for transportation. Brought with me the 'essentials' (laptop, desktop, mobile WiFi, smartphone, TV, a radio w/ flashlight) and my PS4 for entertainment. Been selling the rest of my furniture and used clothes. There's more stuff back in my old shack. I'll try opening up a garage sale this week to get rid of them.

I have sold/donated most of my furniture and used clothes. I'm selling the old house now. Hopefully, it gets sold by the end of the month.

The character Ryan, REALLY upsrts me though, always pushing his agendas at the expense of common courtesy.
This afternoon i literally had to stop watching an episode, where he wanted to use a 20K wedding gift to pay off college loans he incurred after he'd left his wife pregnant in Colorado.
I literally saw red.

I'm sick and tired of consumerism. I hate the fact that corporations are trying to force us to buy new stuff. Yes, I could buy the new stuff they keep churning out, but it's not making me a better person. Money is a limited commodity. Who knows, maybe a week from now all of my stocks and bonds depreciate. I think living a simpler life will enable me to live a fuller life. It's sorta experimental, so I might go back to living in extravagance and debauchery a few months from now. Who knows. So yeah, it's a bunch of different factors that led me back to choosing this lifestyle.
