http://i.imgur.com/AXwVbLp.jpg...Which implies that he may be susceptible to high-end magics, of which Odin possesses en gros. [/B]
Those are different incarnations of Trigon, since he basically reincarnated himself in each of his children. And as he himself pointed out, he got stronger with time. This is also evident by the fact that that same god armor which you posted wasn't that effective against him later on in present continuity. Im pretty sure that armor was stated or at least implied to be the same one which Cassie wears, as i remember. And Trigon stomped her in Teen Titans #19 with one move.
On top of that, Trigon's sons (who are below him) gave PS problems and in FE one-shot (in PS's title) they were stated to have killed Zauriel even, iirc.
Also, back in the 80s, Trigon dealt with high level sorcerers just fine. Your assumptions are drawn from a single showing which isn't even sufficient (cause he got more powerful); to determine a vulnerability there has to be more than one or at least has to be clearly stated. We don't go around saying that Odin's telepathy is shit based on Loki influencing his mind back in the days. And Odin got captured and imprisoned and drained by random alien invaders at least twice that i recall of. So don't base your entire stance on a single low showing.

But like I said: that has no part in why I think Odin wins here, anyway.... So I could really care less how you choose to view it. 👆
[edit]
After rereading the pertinent Teen Titans issues, I definitely think Odin wins.

I understand just fine, but i also pointed out why that showing is inapplicable (because Cassie, wearing that armor, didn't fair good against current Trigon, not the one from god knows how many years ago - the weakened one).
The OP never specified this is N52 Trigon, but okay.

Re-reading them won't do you much good. Because everything Trigon did in those TT issues was part of his plan to get Raven into the team. He manipulated the whole thing. He was repelled by purpose.
So they are likewise inapplicable and irrelevant just like that god-armor instance.
Originally posted by operator616Think what you will, but it was never stated in TT #19 that Cassie's armor was the same armor that had been used against Trigon in the past. Even Trigon himself seemed surprised that her blows harmed him.

Per the forum rules, if a specific version of a character isn't specified in the OP, we use the most recent version by default. Therefore this is DCnU Trigon, not Trigon from 30 years ago.

Would you place pre flashpoint trigon above Dormammu?

In #19 it was implied to be the same. But the association began back in issue #13. The place where Cassie found the armor was directly linked with Trigon:

TT #21, she says that he armor was outright meant to fight Trigon and his forces:

And in #19, he implied that Cassie is of the lineage which passed the armor (as stated in 23.1):

After this, it's just a matter of adding 1 plus the other together.
There are more implications that i recall. But this should do.

Definitely.

In #19 it was implied to be the same.
But again: the armor has nothing to do with why I think Odin wins. That side of things comes down to Odin simply having better feats.
Originally posted by operator616The scan actually says "Trigon's forces", not "Trigon AND his forces." 👆

Originally posted by operator616This just implies that she would have become more powerful if her father would've raised her instead... Don't know where you're getting the same lineage thing..?

Trigon's average > Odin's.
You can't possibly be serious. The reason she specifically said "trigon's forces" is because they were fighting against his sons and not Trigon himself. That statement was meant to imply that her armor was desgined to fight Trigon and anyone who's associated with him.
Alazandria passed her armor throughout the generations:

Hence Trigon's reference of WG knowing her "true lineage" - that she is an ancestor of Alazandria herself.
I hope that clears any doubts you had.

That's false. Trigon did refer to her father, but the statement was directly followed by "true lineage". What Trigon was saying is: Had you were trained by your father, you'd have known your true lineage that you're an ancestor of Alazandria, and became more powerful.
But whatever.

Ridiculous. You are inserting your personal opinion into the statement.
