Darth Maul (SoD) vs Darth Vader (ESB)

Should go either way imo

Either way, I think Vader is simply more Powerful than Maul. Maul's still a beast though.

Maul's overly aggressive style would probably prevent a lot of Force use.

And besides Starkiller, Vader never bested someone really strong. And guys, who were - more or less - average gave him a trouble. Somehow, I can't see Vader comfortable winning against Mace, Dooku or even Maul. All of them would take the majority against him in my opinion.

Except Starkiller is above or around the skill and power of Mace, Dooku, and even Maul? What you just said makes no sense.

Why on earth would Starkiller be around the skill level of any of those characters? He's more powerful than all of them, but outclassed in terms of dueling ability.

Well, I consider Starkiller as badly inferior to all of them as a duelist. And most of duels in SW are basing on that. Even the greatest masters of the Force, like Yoda and Sidious decided to fight this way in their duel. Besides that, I doubt that Stakiller would be able to take a clear advantage over them via the Force. Perhaps in the Force only, without a saber, yes. But not in all-out.

In the canon battle, Vader won by stabbing himself.

Vader is superior now to that version of himself, so I reckon he won't need to do any seppuku moves this time.
