superman enquires

Hi so I aren't too much of a fan of superman. But I do have some questions on his powers.
If the sun were to be destroyed would superman die or would his power just decrease drastically and if just decrease drastically how much more of a blow can he take till he dies? according to the theory of the fiction that is. sorry if the questions seem noob as i said I don't follow superman.

He would find a new way to keep his powers reserves up, but he can go for long time without exposure to the sun.

He would probably fly to a diffrent sun
