It fits with the episode despite the arguments against it. Most people get enraged by it because they don't notice the obvious clone troopers assisting Kenobi. But hey, its fun seeing the uproar bringing that defeat up causes >🙂

cutscenes are canon and, unlike most people like to claim, it doesn't contradict the episode. Take a closer look. There is a big gap where these events could take place. And Dooku obviously escaped at the end
