One minute the Anti Monitor was destroying universes so that he can match power with Darkseid.
And at another point, a young, inexperienced superman was briefly able to stalemate Darkseid, however brief it was.
And finally they have a little pill that if taken makes a normal human being as strong as superman.
So why is Anti monitor destroying universes when he can just take a bunch of those pills. LOL Just doesn't add up.

This is true, but Darkseid in DCNU has traveled between universes without using boomtubes and it didn't affect his size at all.
There was a scan of DS chasing I think thunderbolt from one universe to another and he used his physical strength to keep a portal open, enlarged it enough to fit through and was normal size as if he had traveled through a boom tube. There were scans of that in the ownage thread a couple of years ago.
So i'm not sure if their power is scaled down. Maybe their size does get scaled down but there is no proof that it scales down their power.
