How Skilled or powerful will Kylo Ren be?

Unless he telepathically gave them all his lightsaber skills; he did the bulk of the killing.

Pretty sure the number of Jedi was very small.

THE GREAT SCOURGE OF MALACHOR??

**** yeah. I love the Revan references.

This made my day.

How the **** is that a Revan reference? Malachor is an entire star system, and the only thing the saber has in common with Revan is invoking Jesus with a crucifix.

Plus, the cross guard saber is a Sith design. Which means Sith were fighting at the battle.

The fact Malachor is even mentioned makes it a subtle Revan mention.

"Scourge of Malachor" is referring to the ****ing Battle of Malachor V where, you know, the planet got scourged... by Revan. 😐

Of course it's the canon version, which I assume is a lot different from the Legends (hence ares' comment), but not thinking of Revan when reading "Scourge of Malachor" is just laughable.

Wow! Just like when they talked about Dantooine in Episode IV, or Taris in Aftermath, they were talking about KotOR. Obviously the canon version. 👆

Oh wait, that's retarded.

Don't be retarded.

I never said Revan or KotOR was canon.

I stated the mention of Malachor is a subtle homage to Revan.

That's true.

It's obvious that they're doing a #throwback to the Legends Battle of Malachor here.

Just as the existence of Taris, Rakata Prime, and HK-47 in that game does similarly.

I mention Revan and Malachor and everyone loses their minds.

"WHAT? MALACHOR? That obviously has no reference to Revan!"

Except it's not. 😬

It's not a reference just because it's using the name of a place. Lucas wasn't referencing the EU when he used the name Coruscant. It's not a homage to Revan in the slightest. Using HK may have been, given that it's actually a character, a non-canon one at that, but using places, hell only the name of places, isn't a reference.

LMFAO, no. You're wrong.

It's obviously a reference to Revan.

And based on google, I'm not the only one who thought so.

Lulz. A bunch of people also think the Knight of Ren are a reference to the Revanites. Oh, and Snoke is Plagueis, while also being Revan, because Ren= Revan. Why? Because idiots on the internet said so.

Freshest in the 8th level of denial, kek

Sounds like you're the one in denial, m9, hunting down literally everything that says something Revan's mother thought about to validate him as a character. Malachor was mentioned in TCW. Guess it must have been a reference to Revan too.

Well they were using "Malachor" as another word for "hell" which fits in with the Mandalorian traditions as stated in KotOR 2 and Chronicles, so yeah. 👆

And when Sidious said once again the Sith would rule the galaxy, he was referencing Vitiate! It all makes sense!

Terrible logic, kek

I'm not sure why you think Canon doesn't frequently use Legends content for inspiration.

It does, and that's sort of the point of Legends. 😐 People do their research, kek

I'm going to say this nice and slow:

1. Referencing a place is not referencing a character, in the same way referencing a Sith Empire isn't referencing THE Sith Empire from TOR.
2. Even in Legends, Malachor is an ancient and key Sith system that has plenty of time to have plenty of "Scourges" and it was a haunted and taboo world before Revan destroyed one planet in it.

Stop being retarded. If anything, you just proved half the morons on the internet you used as people agreeing with you that it's reference don't do research.

😂 😂 😂

It's referring to Revan. Nothing you can say changes that.

Then again, your arguments don't really help your stance anyway.

Obvious homage is obvious homage. 👆

I'm just waiting for Neph to chime in.
