I dont know. Maybe they were incapable of saving the universe from what is coming. The greay destroyer is not the ivory kings.

All we know is the multiverse will pass to a transformation. Maybe the death of cosmic entities is necessary to this.

But is just a guess.

The Living Tribunal exists in every multiverse. Why would they have to kill him to bring about this transformation?

Even more, why would the Abstracts be unaware of this coming transformation if it truly were a natural state of evolution?

Galactus for example survived the death of one universe and is aware of the eventual demise of the present universe. That knowledge withstanding, he still isn't aware of what is taking place now with the Ivory Kings.

The original Beyonder is not coming back by accident(right beyonder,you know who I am).I have been reading comics for 42years.Not bragging,maybe a little.But Original Beyonder must have a big part in ending this!
