Spiderman vs Albert Wesker

Started by cdtm2 pages

"Sniper level" bullet timing is the kind of speed we're talking of. 😉

Danny Rand caught a sniper round with his bare hands, and he's still about a half step behind Spidey in raw speed, making up the difference with tactics and his overpowered chi.

Matt Murdoch got blitzed hard by Spidey. after disabling his Spider Sense with a special gas. And even while getting beaten down and having one arm webbed up, he managed to deflect a sniper round aimed at Spidey at the last second.

Supersonic snipers are fairly rare like 50cal or up.

Wesker can tank them to the face.
////back on topic.

Parker wins, but he can definitely hold his own.

Hydra tech in Rands case, so should be high end.

Plue we're talking about comic book tech. Like how Flechette rounds are almost worthless in real life, but penetrate steel under Claremonts Power Man and Iron Fist.

And fair enough. Always did like Wesker, and kind of wish he had a better boss fight.

A bullet from a common hand gun such as a 9MM is 1000fps, more than 3x faster than 300fps

Chris has no peak human speed feats or even impressive speed feats, isn't very skilled in comparison to comic humans and has one strength feat. Any peak human comic character could run circles around and kill Chris Redfield without so much as breaking a sweat.

No...

A 9mm handgun isn't supersonic, they make supersonic 9mm rounds for hunting rifles but it's not a pistol round.

All QTE are speed feats in bulletime. Re5 whores them out hard.

No...

A 9MM hand gun bullet velocity (how fast is travels) exceeds 1000 feet

A Glock, which is one of the most common hand guns and typically what thugs in comic books use has a velocity of between 900-1500 fps. There is no hand gun in the world that shoots bullets at 300 fps. That's ridiculous and there are even compound bows that shoot arrows faster.

Even if you wanted to use QTE none of them are impressive. None of them show bullet dodging speed, Chris can't dodge a 1000fps projectile, in fact Chris can't dodge a 300 fps projectile either. No one in Resident Evil can outside of Wesker and I challenge anyone to show even a remotely impressive speed showing for Chris.

Any peak human, in fact any well conditioned comic book human could easily blitz and kill Chris without any effort.

Muzzle velocity =\= bullet travel speed.

22 calibur rounds can be as low as 180fps.

RE5: Chris dodged a swinging chain, thrown from a full speed dirt bike that (somehow) snuck up on him.

He has also dodged Weskers attacks and he has caught rocket rounds.

Noun 1. muzzle velocity - the velocity of a projectile as it leaves the muzzle of a gun
speed, velocity - distance travelled per unit time

Seriously, it's self explanatory. A bullet from a hand gun literally travels 1000 feet per second

Chris dodged a swinging chain, too bad for him the chain wasn't moving at 1000 fps, or 300 fps or even a 100fps, quite possible the saddest feat I've ever heard of.

And dodging punches from Wesker, Wesker beat the living crap out of Chris and Sheva until they injected him and even then he was still beating the crap out of them, and he was mostly toying with them too.

Wesker dodged bullets with ease and caught rockets fired from a short distance. Yet Chris, Jill, and Sheva( a brand new character) were all capable of tagging him repeatedly throughout the game; even before he was injected with the serum.

So instead of claiming Chris and the others are uber fast, which they aren't. It's more realistic that Wesker just jobbed to them. Because let's be honest, if Wesker moved as fast as he could every time he fought them...he'd have only fought them one time because they wouldn't have survived.

Wesker was toying with them, it's already been shown that if Wesker wanted to kill them he could of easily at any time.

Or they are that good...

Deny all, cry for proof
Repeat.

No, because he was toying with them. Since you insisted on using QTE earlier

Shows how bad Wesker could easily kill Chris if he wanted to

Continue thinking bullets are 300 fps and not knowing what muzzle velocity is though, I'm getting a a good chuckle out of it.

Ok.

Can't force a horse to drink

Congratulations, first imbecile on this site that I'm going to block for trolling when he loses an argument instead of bowing out with some self respect, GJ

What happened to your other account pym?

I tried to update my email and it locked me out.

You have to reactivate and it wouldn't send me a working link.

I hope you're not as bad reading people in poker as you do characters in games. Wesker was toying around not taking his "fights" seriously. If Wesker wanted to, he'd have disposed of Chris, Sheva and Jill as he did Spencer's security 😐

Yep, just like Sesshoumaru spends all his time lecturing Inuyasha instead of going for the kill, giving him every chance to "defeat" him.

What?

I know he was toying with them. But it was jobbing because Wesker for pretty much the entirety of the series was lethally efficient. People that got in his way or were a hindrance to his plan tended to die by either him directly or another plan of his. He played around the entire game despite knowing how effective Chris is at making it through situations like these. Instead of just killing him when it would have made his job a whole lot easier. He had to play around with them so Chris could win, which is him being jobbed by the game.
