Grayson admitted he couldn't beat him in a straight one on one combat. Plus, Grayson used implants to distract him.

Slade is from the same batch of super soldiers as Midnighter. Not to mention it's going to be hard for Grayson to get past his Nth armor and healing factor.

We all know he wouldn't, because he resorted to implants. Guys like Midnighter and Slade are above basic streets like Batman and Nightwing.

Slade was weakened when he fought Batman last time. He was pretty sure he would eventually beat him.

Speaking of Midnighter, can't wait for the Midnighter solo series in June.
