Thanos destroyed a planet whilst in his weakest form fighting Drax.
Their fight did, and we saw that DRAX's ENERGY PROJECTION busting a planet prior to the fight. It's not hard to imagine that Drax is responsible of the massive collateral damages in priority. Moreover the planet was destroyed progressively over time.
Sentry and Genis Vell bot released energies capable to destroy entire worlds while holding back. That's on another level.
