Super Lungs Vs other lungs

Is Superman's freeze breath a truly unique super power?
I think so.
Can anyone name another character that can physically duplicate that power, because i cant.
Is it MORE than just lung strength that lets Superman accomplish this feat?
If so, above question still stands by those criteria.

Duplicate the force of it exactly? Can't say.
Duplicate some of the characteristics of it? There are superman clone characters that do this. Gladiator for example.

Hasn't Herc done it?

Thanks Nib.
Was hoping for non Super clones, though. Characters that have super strong bodies, should have super strong lungs...theoretically.

One of the Powerpuff Girls had freeze breath, but they're also Supes clones basically.

Well, Thor has done it, too. Not exactly the same, tho.

Herc and Thor both mentioned.
Interesting.

Freeze breath? Vartrox has done it.(grr, still angry over how they have turned him into a buffoon post reboot)
Pure super breath? In his early days, hulk has did it, even doing things like blowing down forests and emptying rivers, etc.

Cool.
So, Hulk has super but not freeze. What makes for the freeze, i wonder? 🤨

The sm power set is the most overused in comics

Cant say i disagree with that.

Doesnt make the power set boring in and of itself.
Look at Marvel's X verse. "I was born that way." Is about as boring as it gets, as an origin, but with a little imagination you get pretty interesting takes on the concept.
Same with strength, flight, invulnerability, speed, enhanced senses, and offensive power beam attacks.
All those powers can be attributed to Iron Man, a character as different from Superman as night and day.

It's boring because its not creative. Name one clone that's interesting

Never said anything about clones. Neither did you, actually. 😛

Good question, actually. I'm sure it's mentioned somewhere in his comics.
