What's the big fuss about? By my count, Supermutant has 5 posts, PG has 4, and Martian has 3.
No tournament has ever allowed two posts to be considered one with the exception, rarely, of a long opening post. Even if you hit the character max, your second post is counted as a post in and of itself.
Supermutant, you don't need a 6th post. Personally I think you did well considering you forced the focus onto yourself in match - that tends to be given the benefit of the doubt around here. Let it be judged.
ok, got my own vote done. that was a b!tch to try and figure....scoob, smurph, when you're done send me the comments and i'll post all 3. as long as we each don't vote for someone different, it won't be an issue. if we all DO vote someone different, wellllll...... 😕
maybe digi could break the tie? shrug
Congrats. I agree it was close and tricky to call. And I also agree with Smurph that any of the three would stand a decent chance of beating the combos we have going in our tourney.
Going back to the chatter before the match started, Graviton induced the most controversy among draft picks. But all three low herald picks were discussed briefly. As far as I'm concerned, each did a nice job of pushing the limits of the tier without being clearly past them.
Thanks to all the judges, and for the congratulations!
It was lot of fun to begin with, and my competition surprised me with the strength of their picks. It's a shame it all went pear-shaped towards the end, but I still hope that maybe this will encourage more three-way battlezones in future. The extra combatants add a whole other layer to the proceedings.
Anyway, this has inspired me to participate in future tourneys, after a short break of course.
Well done to Gundam and Mutant. You guys certainly made me work for it.
