Trained Force-users are supposed to be very fast because they can augment their performance by using the Force.
Words/statements such as faster then thought, blur, wall of light, are just elaborations of "great speed" achieved during movement. These statements are not quantifiable however.
An actual confrontation will reveal who is faster.
