Good pick but Glads has him beat in leadership and pure badassness.

Britain's no longer do that, dumb robots killed the whole corps, horribly. They're even.

This is at least the 3rd time they're wiped out since 2000.

They'll be back 😉

Death. Seed. Sentry.

You do want someone that can stand up to world threats thou if alone or til help arrives.....

....Whoever you pick there powers won't change. They stay the way they are, just there responsibilities change on a different scope to Superman puportions.....

....Someone like Spider-Man won't work here, cus he is not powerful enough for this role. Keep it in mind when you make your pick. Your pick will be the most important hero to Marvel Earth most importantly. You can pick from my list or your own Marvel hero of choice.....

Yup.

Haha, owned.

I pick Blue Marvel.
He has the power set, seems like he'd do well in a post Obama world.

Hulk

^^^I'm sure there's a Marvel-verse where this is true.

Lol

Mr. Fantastic, probably.

Not in the 'universally loved' way as Superman, but that constant role of universal importance? Yeah, Reed.

Hyperion would be perfect, plus he is superman clone with externals abilities this would make Hyperion more like tagnet superman with an edge, marvel needs to stop phucking with him period

For Captain Britain to be an effective guardian, England would have to take over the world again.

ha-som

The Silver Surfer certainly has the power to do it. The power, the compassion. Drawback: he looks too alien. Even Stan Lee's first reaction was that he was "some kinda nut on a surfboard."

Thor? Too warrior-like.

Captain America? Symbolically he's perfect. Power-wise? Meps.

PreDS Sentry: too unstable. DS Sentry: too caught up in a sense of divine mission.

Gladiator/Hyperion: neither of them strike me as being "compassionate" enough (though admittedly, I don't know much about these guys). Plus (like SS), not sure how Gladiator's appearance would go over.

Leaning toward...Blue Marvel. Supermanish powerset? Check. Compassionate? I think so. Plus, being a "minority" strikes me as symbolically important (given the increasing diversification of America's population).

Symbolically?

You know that nobody outside America would agree with you?

Many people outside America would agree with him.

That would be a really advanced world...

It would be pretty cool if Steve Rogers somehow got his hands on the Starbrand. He would then be powerful enough to be a Superman type of character.

There are places outside of America?

He'd probably do something really important with it then humbly give it up.

Because he's cool like that.

He wouldn't actually have to, because his role as Captain America is over. CA is just a job, and anyone that fits the criteria can fill that position. The Star would fit Steve perfectly IMO.

I love CA but I would never think of him to represent the world, because he is well Captain America. It should be a hero who has no bounds to a country, like Superman, who can inspire people, who is respected around the globe.

Wolverine, neither canadian, nor japanese, nor american, he was everywhere, he is loved by everyone, a great leader, a great warrior, a great man. Respect the best, phuck the rest.
