Well, apparently his Steel form sucks so badly now that
Spoiler:
a magical creature with low level super strength slamming him once into a wooden beam is enough to revert him back to human form. Sara did better than he did against it, 1-on-1, and she doesn't even have powers.
And this was a guy who was stopping speeding trains, tanking large explosions and catching bullets with his teeth at one point.
Yeah, honestly, if Nate is going to suck this badly whenever they do have him use his powers, they might as well keep him at the Time Bureau. Because when highly trained humans outshine a guy who should be a 100+ tonner after the train feat, then you know the writing is pretty damn awful for the character. And this is not the only example. He went from being able to lie on a pile of TNT as it exploded without problems to getting knocked back to human form just from being caught near explosive blast waves in other episodes.
They started him off very powerful, and then steadily beat him with the nerf stick so badly until, as things stand, he'd probably struggle against MCU Jessica Jones in a 1-on-1 fight.

Notice they seem to be nerfing characters in multiple shows now? Nate in Legends and Cisco in Flash. Admittedly Cisco's powers were pretty broken, but still. At least with Cisco they gave a reason in the plot as to why, but he's still being nerfed.

Well, I do kind of get it with Cisco. He is a supporting character for another hero on their show. So, don't want him stealing too much spotlight, especially when he has such a potentially OP powerset (energy blasts, precognition/post-cognition/clairvoyance, and portals to literally anywhere in the multiverse).
With Legends, I think the budget is going mostly into all the magical stuff, so they've now basically written Nate out of being a main character so that they don't have that issue anymore. So, now we're just left with Buff Sheldon and the suit he never uses.
Which is another thing that kind of irks me, to be honest. Ray is the most socially retarded person ever. Which actually makes zero sense, if you look back, considering he had previously been married, and was also a very charismatic and successful businessman, when they originally introduced him in Arrow.

Something they added, as far as I know. His only comic love was smokes and bottles.
Well I only ask cuz there is a storyline in the comics involving him going back and making it so a past love didn't love him anymore. This sort of happens in the show, but in the comics it was a chick.
I was bummed when I heard the Legends wouldn't be in the crossover, but the episode was more than entertaining enough to make up for it. Ray even broke the 4th wall to poke fun at it (which is the second time he has done it now, considering previous "fan"/"ratings" comments from an earlier episode).

I'm actually kinda glad. I've been very meh when it comes to these crossovers. I haven't seen the latest one yet, but the last two were mediocre.
I enjoy the crossovers myself. I liked this year's one too, even if there were parts of the last episode I wasn't a fan of.
Also, as far as I know, Constantine has always been bisexual. Some writers just choose to highlight it more than others. Didn't see those comments earlier, so only responding on it now.

Yeah, he’s always been bisexual. No big whoop.
Could very well be. I read most of his bigger stories, but far from comprehensive, and almost nothing since the reboots.
Haven't really thought about it, any more then wondering about Sherlock Holmes sexual preferences. But not a big deal, however he swings.
The first hints of him being bi go back as far as the 90s, actually, IIRC. So, it's been that way for a long time. But, as you said, in today's day and age, who really gives a shit? Sure, some people might support him purely because of the LGBT+ aspect, but I suspect that's a very small percentage. Most people support him because he is a charming bastard who is entertaining to watch.
Well, this was my favorite Fraggle Rock character, after all:
The Fraggle who could never make up his mind. 🙂
