A rather odd teacher student situation...

...The student is female. And 11. More inappropriate than most? Or the same?

28-Year-Old Teacher Reportedly Sent 11-Year-Old Student 2,400 Text Messages Expressing 'Deep Love'

A Pennsylvania elementary school teacher was arrested after allegedly sending an 11-year-old female student thousands of text messages, indicating that she wanted to run away with her.

Geraldine Alcorn, 28, resigned from Beechwood Elementary School on March 2, after school officials “were made aware of concerns that a teacher had developed an improper attachment” with a student, WPXI reports.

Alcorn allegedly sent the young girl more than 2,400 text messages, where she expressed a “deep love” for the student and talked about adopting her and running away.

School officials became aware of the inappropriate relationship in February. The child’s mother had found numerous messages from Alcorn on her daughter’s iPod. She also found handwritten letters entitled: “Things Ms. Alcorn and I can do,” “What we can do,” and “When we can do it.”

It was later discovered that Alcorn went as far as to visit the child’s home without permission from the mother. Neighbors told WPXI that they would see Alcorn on the child’s front porch, but assumed she was the girl’s aunt or relative.

Alcorn, who taught many of the child’s classes, is also accused of bringing the student to her own home in Bloomfield, according to Pittsburgh police.

Even after her resignation, the 'obsessed' teacher continued reaching out to the student. A criminal complaint stated that Alcorn put gifts and letters in the girl’s locker. She also encrypted her phone number on the girl’s math worksheet.

Alcorn is now facing charges of child luring, corruption of minors, and attempting to interfere with custody of the child. She posted a $100,000 bond on March 25 but the judge warned that if she attempts to contact the child, her bond will be revoked.

Frank DeMarco, whose daughter was also a student of Alcorn’s, told WPXI that the teacher was popular among the children and would often play “Trivia Crack” with the students.

Pedophile is as pedophile does

Weirddddddddddd

Not sure if she wanted to be a surrogate mother?
Still, mother. Lover. Short leap for an unstable mind.

Sounds like miring brah

That teacher is cute as ****. I say we give her what she wants.

^^^speaking of unstable minds, its my ignored stalker. 😮‍💨

@NameBro

You sound nuts, but history backs you up...!

Being on the same site is stalking? I guess everyone is a stalker here then, dumbass.

None of the charges were of a sexual nature. Maybe not a pedophile. Perhaps an extreme obsession and "motherly complex"*, however.

*Bitches, I have no idea what the psychology term for it is. It's not the Phaedra complex (I thought it was but I just checked on google). It's the condition where women have an absurdly strong desire/urge to be a mother or be motherly. It is a pathology** because it clearly inteferes with their ability to function, "normally." But I can't f*cking remember what it's called.

**Also, how do we feel, as a society, punishing people with mental problems? Seems kind of dumb. We need to get out of the 18th Century with our idea of how we treat people with pathological disorders. We can't just throw them in prison and expect them to get better. That's why the US has the shittiest prison system of any modern country, in the world. Stupid American Prison System (SAPS).

The inmates are running the asylum again?

That, and America never seems to take a note from other 'big boy' countries that realize things in modern society that determine life and death, and the quality thereof, (health care, education, prisons, law...) aren't, or at least shouldn't be, designed or intended to prioritize profit.
