I wasn't saying anything bad (at least I don't think so). All I was saying is if Validus was to punch Sentry's head off that doesn't end the fight. It may end the fight if it were Thor and he was to get his brain smashed to pieces. But in this it doesn't work like that. That is all I was saying. I didn't even give an opinion on the fight.I don't see why you need to bring up Galactus vs Sentry or LT vs Sentry to make your point though. As the result of them 2 matches are pretty obvious unless for the Galactus fight he actually had X-Man along with him.
And it was probably a fairly weakened Galactus.
And plus going by feats it's next to nigh impossible to effect Sentry via physical force since his flesh is just a shell, as he says the soul is what guides him. And we've seen him come back from high level attacks. I don't see how you think a punch from Validus is gonna kill Sentry when he has specifically said his mortal shell doesn't matter and he himself has proved that.

I don't really believe there is a huge distinction but I tried my best to make an imgur album featuring some of his feats in that regard.
(Note I'll be using the 2 words synonymously) so you can make the decision yourself on what you want to use for the said feats.
http://imgur.com/a/SX4gh#mYlH47x
Also I had put in a description for the images but it isn't working so I will do one here.
1st Image: Sentry reforms his head out of nothing after having it smashed to pieces by Thor.
2nd Image: (Void) grows back the skin over his skull.
3rd Image: Regrows his entire body back from a skeleton (because really he doesn't want to die.
4th Image: Here Sentry states how he regenerated from an atom over and over again.
As if you remember while he was in the Sun he (Robert's soul) was battling the Void for control of his body. Presumably he won as the Void left.
Image 5.1: Robert is completely obliterated (no DNA left, no skin, completely no sign of his presence is around any more.)
Image 5.2: He reforms out of nothing.
Which presumably indicates that if he wants to come back he can. Because as you can see he was completely obliterated. Which kind of gives credence perhaps tot he fact the soul does guide him.
Image 6.1: Sentry is completely obliterated by Molecule Man.
Image 6.2: He again completely reforms out of nothing.
Image 7.1: He is again completely wiped by Molecule Man.
Image 7.2: He's back.
And the following image that I forgot to put in.

It's not with him in the same principle.
The Void only appears when Sentry is having a bad run, if he is mentally unstable etc. We know the Void is having an effect if he speaks in black speech bubbles (although Death Sentry has Black speech bubbles as well like every Horsemen of Death did).
Except from that one case in the Sun where the Void monologues about how Bob "Didn't want it enough".
The Void doesn't play a single part in it unless he is actually around. Otherwise unless implicitly implied, it's Bob who is under control. The Void isn't the source of this power to reform. It's Bobs power when he wants to reform and the Voids power when the Void wants to reform.
Originally posted by One_Angry_Scotthis is just your theory , we know for a fact they were both within the same body. Just as we know current Sentry can reform due to his death seed upgrade.

Like I said he isn't with him in the same sense, but I think you've misunderstood my point.
It's not theory it's a fact (as it has been shown throughout his tenure in comics) I showed you an ability of him reforming before the upgrade.
And again he reformed before the upgrade.
So I will wait for your proof that the Death Seed gave him the ability to reform.

He only started reforming in his appearances once the hint of the Void surfacing was more evident.
DS explain what the Seed does for him in uncanny avengers

Are you talking about the battle in the Sun or in general?
That seems like you're reaching in my opinion there.
It doesn't explain anything as he done it before the upgrade and it wasn't even implied the Death Seed helped.
As it didn't considering he had the ability before the Death Seed amp.

Oh right, it's PLOT and PIS and thus not usable. Good logic, we are throwing everything out which shows Sentry in a bad light. He is Invincible now.

Who said punching his head off won't end the fight? Show me him growing a head. I'm not going to rely on a nutcase like sentry "Soul drive me, I'm Invincible". A worm incapacitated him by a physical attack alright. I wonder why he didn't reform his body out of that.Oh right, it's PLOT and PIS and thus not usable. Abhi if you're going to answer me sarcastically I don't see the point continuing the conversation.
In answer to your question.
If you want Abhi next time I'll bring up a way Superman got his arse kicked in a way that seems stupid and use that as a barometer.
You'd be getting pissed off if I did that. So I don't see why you now do the same thing.
