I'm just wondering how Superman would ever beat the Surfer in a fight? The Surfer has power that would shut Superman down before anything got out of hand. There's always a character out there that can take apart another character. This isn't really something that should upset people, they should just accept it and move on.

The majority between both Surfer and Superman is debatable. The only thing I dispute is ABHI intentions on making Superman more powerful than Surfer when all in all, he isn't. If we debate primarily off of powerset then I can see where an argument can be made for Surfer but we all know we don't debate like that here. Superman and Surfer can go either way but neither is far above if at all above the other.

We clearly see Superman and Ulysses caught in the blast. You should read the comics vince.

I already said that he was amped via several trips to sun. He was nowhere sundipped. And the amp was just minor so that he survived kryptonite long enough and was nearly dead instead of being actually dead.

- Claimed DCNU Doomsday energy drained an entire race of Kyrptonians to death. Never happened. He gave me the issue#, I checked; no dialogue or art depicting anything of the sort...at all.

Your words are meaningless when Atom said that the black hole will destroy the solar system. Superman stopped it before it could destroy it though. As soon as Superman tossd it, the black hole actually destroyed that wormhole and we could see debris floating.

- Claimed Surfer was KO'd by Firelord twice. Never happened. Surfer fought Firelord three times, won twice, and third fight never finished. Claims Surfer was unconscious, even though his eyes are open and he's still talking. lol.

- Implied Superman would stomp Orion. Never happened, and refuses to post scans of their 1on1 fights, which are always stalemates.

He defeated Brainiac who oneshotted Orion, defeated Mageddon who broke Orion and nearly killed him and stalemated Infinity Man who oneshot disintegrated Orion.

But all those mean nothing, right? Only Superman fighting while holding back matters.

- Claims Superman held back in his fight with Orion. No proof. Contradicts statements in the comic e.g., Superman says "If it's a fight you want Orion...YOU GOT I!T!" and another statement "They'll kill each other, stop!"

Superman always pulls his punches against Orion.

Orion himself has said so.

This is just off the top of my head, there's much more. I guess abhi figures no one would actually check the comics, it's a b!tch to do. But when you do, turns out a lot of the claims are bull poop.

Also when you get over the "OMG, he destroyed the planet." phase of the feats Celey and Carver are so proudly presenting, its not even that big a feat for surfer.

For example against Ravenous, this is the whole fight.

This cool "planet busting" didn't even KO Ravenous who is bloody but conscious in the very next page. This is without even his curr who surfer killed just before he destroyed the planet. In fact the curr had the entire power within him.
