Darksiders 2 Deathfinitive Edition.
For all the flack the PC port gets, it at least beats the Xbox 360 version by a mile, as it should.
Playing with shadows off and that occlusion thing off as well, and still looks good to me (I did try with maxed settings and seemed playable, but this is a non gaming laptop running a shit port so why push my luck)

Doom Eternal is fantastic....one of my favourite shooters in the last 10 years.
Though....I was less impressed by the DLC....new enemy types removed what was great about the Eternal...where inI most situations allowed the the use of all weapons (the DLC adds enemies that require a specific weapon mod to be used....)
Early in Darksiders 2 and at my second roadblock. The way to The Drenchfort seems to be blocked off by a giant gate. I can not figure out how to get past it.
Making an effort not to cheat and look up spoilers.
First roadblock was the super easy puzzle with two boulders and three slots in The Forge, and I simply didn't notice the third slot next to the gate to release the second boulder.. Because they don't exactly stand out unless they're activated and glowing.
Wonder if the remastering made them harder to notice compared to the 360 originals.

i was doing Knight's Honor achievement finding all the rare weapons. Had one list for it from https://www.playstationtrophies.org/ and it was dogshit, Half the weapons weren't on it

And think I've cracked it. Was as simple as taking that op Geth shotgun onto the field (Considered the claymore, but way too heavy, even if the equivilent of a mini nuke launcher).
Fact is I only bring 2-3 guns onto the field to keep power cooldown at a reasonable level. Usually a good sniper, combat rifle, and sidearm.
So decided to trade out the Black Widow for a shotgun. Best decision I ever made, that thing takes out the tankiest tanks in three or four fully charged shots. And the range is ridiculous for a shotgun, I can hit targets way in the distance.
Black Widow never impressed me anyways considering the money. Maybe Soldier is a bad class for it.

Realized I don't use my bonus powers at all, and actually bought Marksman.
Then slapped myself on the head realizing Adrenaline rush is way better for shotguns with the free reload and all purpose damage (Who can focus on headshots with banshee's and those big hulking tanks charging you?)
So went with warp ammo. Probably will only use it for Banshee's, and incendiary for everything else (I like setting targets ablaze and exploding them with concussion shots)
Did you like any of the armor sets? I bought Collector and Inferno, and wore Inferno for Targer Horizon. Tbh, I think I prefer the N7 to the fancy power armors.
Being able to see Shep and hear a normal unfiltered voice. And it give 50% health boost, not like splitting that boost up between shield, health, and shield regen is that big a deal.

Forza Horizon 5 is great. Super fun and graphically one of the best looking games around. Right up there with the new Ratchet and Clank PS5 game. Honestly they're the only two games that really feel next gen to me.
Forza always was a step up when it came to visuals. Even in the 360 era, the first Forza Horizon blew you away compared to anything else out there.
