Yeah. I was fuming...I didn't want to steal a horse because the bounty system is broken but I didn't want to spend 15 minutes walking back.

It's funny because Assassins Creed is literally the complete difference than Red Dead 2. You can fast travel anywhere on the map once you sync the viewpoint up. You can bring back your ship at any port on the map in about 15-30 seconds and some locations (like the fighters arena) are fast travel points automatically once you visit it.

You can always whistle your horse wherever you are and you can even set arrows to autocraft if need be.

Galaga Legions is the perfect one handed phone app, if you set it to relative touch controls.

Phone in one hand, beer or cigar in the other.

This is a goodie. Like Thrust, only better. Works fine with Dosbox .72 (The latest, .74, had all kinds of problems, but that was before revisions..)

Kind of sad there's no call for a classic gravity based game anymore, they were fun back in the day.

Dragon Age 2, trying to game the friendship and rivalry system to get all the best results. And this is after spending the last while doing an almost full-playthrough of Origins that I imported (Skipped Golems of Amgarrak).

Unworthy, fun little 2D action metroidvania.

Budokai 3.

Fighting enthusiasts hate it, but as a single player experience, it's great. The "flip a coin" ultras mean you can never totally cheese the ai.

Budokai 1.

Had it for awhile, but kept getting put off by the stupidly slow startup. All I care about is the single player content, and they make you wander around aimlessly, to show off all these online stations I could care less about.

The level design is kind of stupid, too. Why do you need to wander around these big open areas to access content? This isn't an mmorpg. Why does the Time Vault area have to be so big? It's this stupidly large expanse, just a waste of space, like some kid learning 3d game design would come up with.

Did I say Budoki 1? I meant Xenoverse 1.

And another thing, what's with the racial perks? They don't make any sense.

Humans auto regen ki, but Saiyans and Buu's don't? And SSJ looks kind of pathetic, which is just insane. Did the people who made this game even know anything about Dragon Ball?

And another thing!

How does the Create a Character make any sense?

Clothes alter your stats.

Gender alters your stats. And not in expected ways, like strength or hit point pool (It does that, too), but smaller sizes tend to have better ki blasting abilities.

Larger sizes make sense for strikes, but why would smaller sizes be better with ki? No reason at all. They probably wanted a contrast for bigger characters, so better ki control is the incentive to give up hit points and melee. Doesn't mean it makes sense.

Height is even worse. Short = fast, tall = slow.

Because Cell was such a slug.

SSJ for CAC saiyans is actually OP in the sense you can spam super/ultimate moves so long as you maintain the form, which is easy with like a ki charge skill.

Kinda agree on some of those other gripes/nitpicks though. Worst part is RNG for reward drops from parallel quests, which is pure evil if youre just trying to get a certain skill from said PQ. The RNG for mentors appearing randomly in the hub world was also kinda dumb.

Lara Croft GoL - it's free with Xbox gold

Got it when it was free way back.

Now they're recycling gold games. Glad I don't pay for that anymore.

Lego Lord of the Rings.

Transformers Fall of Cybertron

A shame High Moon crashed and burned, would have liked a modern day version. They certainly went out on a high note, at least.

Space Marine.

A far better game then 2016 Doom.

I don't know anything about 40k, but from the game it appears the Imperium are like super heroic Rebels from Star Wars. A classic tail of good vs evil.

Under rated gem. One of the best games of last generation, imo.

Would never have known it existed, if not for the Humble Store giveaway last summer.

Hard to believe this came out before Transformers Fall of Cybertron. It seems so much more polished, gameplay wise.

Soma.

First game I was ever genuinely creeped out by. Nearly quit playing a few times.

But I just can't stop.

I need to give that game a go.
