Clearly not a music fan, then, huh?

Tarantino, in particular, is pretty notorious for having at the very least interesting music, and making interesting music choices, and, imo, for the most part making great music choices. Although I don't think he'll ever top Pulp Fiction as far as music choices go.

I'm a huge music fan, and like i said, i notice when a movie is well scored... but i just don't give a single fck about the composers. Call it disrespectful, you can say that i underappreciate them, whatever;. i just don't care enough to learn the names of composers.

That's basically what the last seven guys who used your ass said about you, Mouth

I've seen 'em all (except for Deathproof) and i own 5 of them, but i never realized Tarantino has only made 8 movies.

this one looks like a good time.

but you know my name, rob. 😬

I was lucky #8

I'm looking forward to this a lot, but the trailer didn't do much for me. Nice to see Bruce Stern though.

Walton Goggins and Tarantino is a great team up. He looks like the best character in it.

Will be entertaining as Tarantino flicks are but Kill Bill remains my favorite work of his.

I was bummed he wasn't more utilized in Django. Glad he's getting a more meatier part this time around.

Just need some Timothy Olyphant and we're set

Two different versions of the movie

In talking with Variety, the filmmaker revealed that he will have two different cuts of his new release, with those seeing the film in 70mm getting six extra minutes of material, in addition to the overture and an intermission. Furthermore, he has toyed with certain scenes in order to maximize them for the way they'll be seen.

The 70 is the 70. You’ve paid the money. You’ve bought your ticket. So you’re there. I’ve got you. But I actually changed the cutting slightly for a couple of the multiplex scenes because it’s not that. Now it’s on Showtime Extreme. You’re watching it on TV and you just kind of want to watch a movie on your couch. Or you’re at Hot Dog on a Stick and you just want to catch a movie.... It ["big, long, cool, unblinking takes” was awesome in the bigness of 70, but sitting on your couch, maybe it’s not so awesome. So I cut it up a little bit. It’s a little less precious about itself.

Saw this one in 70mm.

Quite a good film. Not Tarantino's best, but definitely entertaining and a good view in 70mm.

One thing I didn't like too much: the two opening chapters in the coach. I missed a sublime opening dialogue or monologue. And in chapter two there was an awful lot of exposition. But... Tarantino can wrote and I can't believe how fast the first 100 minutes (up until the official break) went by.

So very good stuff. But it's no Pulp Fiction.

I'm waiting for cheap theater on this. Look forward to seeing it.

😂

It has lots of talking. In fact, it has MOSTLY talking. And a bit of gore.

other than lacking suspense and a dull third act it was a good movie. The acting is classic. The cinematography is beautiful and quentins dialogue is as engaging as ever but even with all of these right ingredients the movie still falls short with me. As a mystery/suspense movie it fails, although, i don't know if this was ever a goal of, Tarantinos'. There is rarely anything traditional about, Tarantinos movies and this one is no exception.

It's certainly a very good movie and if you're a Tarantino fan you'll be satisfied because the things this movie succeeds at it does so better than most. Although, i doubt the story will keep anyone interested. At least, for me, it was the characters and dialogue that kept me invested. The story completely falls apart once the third act starts. Definitely worth watching though and i have a feeling this one will get better with a second or third viewing.

What is so funny? His movies always have a lot of talking.

Yes, but they also usually have plot and character development.

I am just not sure how to consider this movie. It's very entertaining and extremely well acted. But...this movie also suffers from a huge amount of self-indulgence and exposition (Chapter 2 and the Flashback scene).

I couldn't wait for this film to end. Shitty.

😂

It can't be as bad as guys are making it out to be. I didn't like the last 25 minutes of Django, but the rest of the movie was near perfect.
